Academic Department Liaison Librarians

Librarians are available to give research instruction and demonstrate the online library resources, to classes, small groups, and individuals at the library or a classroom of your choice. Contact either

  • Discovery search & online catalog: search databases & local collections; renew local and Link+ items online; place holds; faculty long-term borrowing for local materials; dept. curriculum budget for adding library materials
  • Link+: shared collection with 70+ academic & public libraries, order online – arrives in 4-7 days
  • Interlibrary loan (ILL): https://library.puc.edu/ill (no cost unless rush order shipping)
  • Journals: table of contents delivery available; saved article searches & notifications https://library.puc.edu/journals
  • Room Reservations: library computer lab & study rooms or other dept. rooms at https://library.puc.edu/rooms
  • Subject Guides: class or topic aids for student’s research that we can develop together: https://puc.libguides.com
  • Reserves: library or personal items can be placed on reserve at the circulation desk, please provide materials at least 2 business days ahead of when students will need the materials – use the form at https://library.puc.edu/reserves
  • Copyright: we can assist with copyright questions and research needs
  • Information Literacy: classroom or in-library instruction is available by librarians, see https://library.puc.edu/research
  • Off-Campus Access: use your PUC Canvas/Email login for library access when prompted
  • Library Technology: students & employees can borrow equipment at the Library Circ Desk such as laptops, chargers, video-out adapters, calculators, mobile video accessories, DVD/Blu-ray player/burner, phone conf. call speaker/mic
